On 15 October 2012, Stuart Worsley took up his appointment as head of development partnership for the CGIAR Research Program on Livestock and Fish.
This is a new position that we hope will help us achieve the ‘impact at scale’ objective set by the Program. He will work closely with other component leaders, value chain coordinators and scientific teams across our four partner Centers to make this happen.
Worsley has 25 years of experience in the development sector and has particular expertise in livestock systems and agricultural value chains, and more especially in beef and dairy system management. He is British, was recently living and working for several years in East Africa, and earlier in Indonesia, Afghanistan, and Egypt. He joins our team from the SNV Netherlands Development Organization where he was regional director for the Balkans based in Albania.
Worsley is based at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Nairobi.
Congratulation Worsley, wish you a very successful tenure
