To provide the technologies needed to boost the key productivity drivers of livestock and fish production, the program delivers both shorter-term adaptive research for development and longer‐term upstream research.
The animal genetics theme is developing improved strains and breeding strategies that sustainably improve animal productivity in emerging small-scale market-oriented livestock and fish production systems.
