Participatory assessment of animal health constraints and husbandry practices in the Ugandan pig production system

From 25 to 29 August 2013, the 14th International Conference of the Association of Institutions for Tropical Veterinary Medicine (AITVM) was held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The animal health work on the Ugandan pig value chains was presented by Michel Dione, postdoctoral scientist under the smallholder pig value chain development project and Kristina Rosel, joint appointee Freie Universität Berlin/ILRI under the Safe Food, Fair Food project.
